What's about to follow is a sincere argument about loli art. If you're someone who demonizes loli art and those who enjoy it, I just ask that you hear me out till the end to respond. There's more to a topic than "it makes me uncomfortable" after all.

Let's start with what.

What is Loli art? No seriously. It's not what your gut reaction may think, because it's not just thinly veiled CP.

As a matter of fact, it's not CP at all because it's art. Art is abstracted from reality, and due to that cannot be held up to the same standards as reality.

When you play a video game and kill someone without a second thought, that doesn't make you a killer, nor does it mean you'd condone those actions IRL. It's just you enjoying art, and contextualizing yourself through it. There's a clearly defined difference between the world-

We live in, and the fictional one. And this argument, as old as it might be, also applies to loli art.

If you enjoy loli art, if it's the only thing you get off too and you've read every last doujin, that does not make you a pedophile. It just means you enjoy that art.

You wouldn't condone those actions for real, nor would you engage with them. Now to loop back around you might argue "but they look like children and that's fucking disgusting" but that's just a matter of taste. You find a single child that looks like this, and you might have-

An argument. But here's thing, you can't. Because no one on earth looks like an anime character. And that's another abstraction from reality. You're brain can clearly tell the difference unless you fall under the literal definition of what it means to be psychotic.

If you don't like it, that's one thing. But if you're going to the people that do pedo's then you are absolutely in the wrong. Because they're not children, they're drawings. If you ask me "a drawing of what?" I will just respond with "nothing, it's just a drawing. It's not-

But your reason for getting off to a loli tentacle rape doujin, doesn't have to be that deep. You can legit-

Just like the art, because as mentioned earlier, it's not depicting an actual child. It's depicting something you yourself latch onto and think it's hot. It's the idea of something that you'd never actually do, but wonder about. That train of thought is why incest is so-

That aside, you can be into loli art for the same reason. Maybe you just wanna explore that idea in your mind.

Let's be for real, every community has fucked up people in it. I don't think I need to talk about what happened in the smash community

This year do I? I will say however, lolicon groups do tend to house more than others. For one sole reason though.

No it's not because the art looks like a kid, it's because people demonize loli art like it's the fucking plague. Leading to people not talking about it openly-

Fear of being bandwagoned on and losing all their friends and respect in a community. Now, you have one group who's doing nothing wrong (lolicons) and you have another group who's doing EVERYTHING wrong (actual pedos) if you treat them the same, eventually things are going to

Overlap. They'll start to find comrades in those fucked up people because they don't really have any where else to go.

All this is to say, even if you hate loli art, you shouldn't want it demonized if you want to stop-
