2/6 An academic exposé of reform opportunities missed by the political opposition since the Zapu days, can't be the basis of a gratuitous personal attack, from the spokesperson of the MDC-A. When they spit up ad hominem attacks, they should not complain if the favour is returned!
3/6 I presented, "NEWS HEADLINES OVER REFORM HEADWAYS: the bane of opposition politics in Zimbabwe" as an academic piece; at the invitation of #SapesTrust, for its Zoom Meeting. The piece was published on Sunday by @thestandardzim. I stand by it 100%!

4/6 The hostility & anti-intellectual diatribes displayed in these streets; to reject the historical fact that the MDC has squandered opportunities for reform headways, are an instructive case study of intolerance, fueled by the deadly combination of ignorance & personal hatred!

* The 2013 Constitution, a Tsvangirai legacy.
* The irreversibility of the land reform programme, a Mugabe legacy.
* Youth Empowerment, their joint legacy.
