There is something indescribably joyous and amusing than seeing things so familiar through the lens of another’s imagination. original designed use. It’s the wondrous side beyond the uncanny valley where we recognise the thing, but the approximation is so far removed from its origin to be humorous. Comedy at the end of the day is incongruity and looking at things from a different perspective.
This gives me all the joy of a nostalgic comedy show, inspiring imagination & a whole stable of new creatures to add to my repertoire. This will truly & down as one of the greatest ideas in TTRPGs and all the more impressive for absolutely sticking the landing!
