However the club fell on hard times in the 90s. This meant the liquidation of the club when they were relegated to the Segunda B

The birth of Sestao River club followed the same year.
Starting in the 7th tier, they rose four levels in 8 years to the Segunda B, narrowly missing out on the second division in the 2014 play-offs
Last year they finished 2nd in their Tercera division
