We begin with... SESTAO RIVER CLUB

Founded in 1996, it might not seem like a club with a lot of history

But it used to be Sestao Sport club, which was in existence from 1916 to 1996

During those 80 years, Sestao Sport Club played 17 seasons in the Segunda, spending the rest of the time between the Segunda B and the Tercera

They play their football at Las Llanas, which has a capacity of 8,905

Sestao is a small town of about 30,000 people near Bilbao, in the Basque country

Up river from Bilbao, it was famous for its metal industry in the 20th century, before the financial crisis in the 80s

The 80s also saw a few star names pass through Sestao Sport club

Legendary manager Javier Irureta would spend four seasons there

Ernesto Valverde played there, while José Luis Mendilibar spent 8 seasons at the club

However the club fell on hard times in the 90s. This meant the liquidation of the club when they were relegated to the Segunda B

They reportedly had debts of 137 million pesetas - about 1.3 million euros in today's money. Which is a lot for a small club

The birth of Sestao River club followed the same year.

Starting in the 7th tier, they rose four levels in 8 years to the Segunda B, narrowly missing out on the second division in the 2014 play-offs

Last year they finished 2nd in their Tercera division

Recent years have seen familiar faces such as Gaizka Toquero, Ibai Gómez and Iago Herrerín in his youth days pass through Sestao

And last year, Athletic Club drew them in the cup
