Imagine there are twitter accounts that only post videos & articles of dogs attacking humans

Now imagine that those twitter accounts are your main source of information on dogs

You wouldn't get a very good image of what dogs are really like, right?
But it gets worse, because if you followed those accounts for a while, they'd start influencing your behavior towards dogs

You'd get scared & angry whenever you saw a dog

You'd expect them to be violent and you would be mean to them
One sided coverage becomes a self fulfilling prophecy

You'd have a huge confirmation bias about dogs being evil

So anytime you'd see one dog doing something bad, you'd consider it proof that all dogs are like that

Very hard mental prison to get out off
Be careful of these confirmation bias accounts

You can make a case for even the most ridiculous ideas if you use enough cherry picking and gaslighting tactics

Trust your own experiences over what anyone is trying to tell you online

These tweets aren't about dogs
