Primary School is a very important phase of a person’s education. It’s so evident on twitter what the lack of quality primary education can cause. It’s not about whether you can write english. It’s about building foundation for social skills and logical reasoning.

In Nigeria, they just start from like primary 3 loading you with science, mathematics etc when even the foundation of an educated mind hasnt been touched...logic and social skills to interact not only with humans but your environment. Thats why people are so cruel to animals.

Put a live chicken in front of an yt kid he wants to hug it. Put the same live chicken in front of a nigerian kid he wants to stone it.

It’s a bloody problem and its too late to teach adults those things...logical reasoning and social skills.

You also learn empathy in primary school. Most often when there’s a problem between two pupils teachers are looking for who is right and who is wrong. It’s so evident with our interactions here on twitter nigeria.

We can’t be saved, honestly we are lost.

I have a few friends who are now teachers at these expensive schools and we talk about how the pupils are taught and trained. It’s impressive now but i fear in other schools its not the same standard. We have to take these things serious.

My snapshot of Nigeria through twitter is not encouraging at all. We have lost it on social skills, on logical reasoning and on empathy. We collectively score an impressive 0 on all three!
