Tobias Figueiredo has received criticism in recent weeks, and rightly so.

Below I will analyse the 2 goals he has given away from set pieces against Reading & Brentford. Along with discussing what Hughton has spotted and changed as a result.

#NFFC v #BrentfordFC

- 1st goal of the game just 15 mins in. Figueiredo is too square onto his man to see both the ball and Dalsgaard.

- As a result he's too flat footed to move as Dalsgaard moves off and means he can't follow him, and runs into the crowd.
#ReadingFC v #NFFC

- The week before Figueiredo is just a sloppy against Reading.

- Here he has a better positioning being 90 degrees to Morrison, but too focused on the ball.

- The run from Morrison makes him move backwards and off balance, failing to judge the flight
- Following the goal conceded against #BrentfordFC, Hughton changed the role for Figueiredo.

- @ForestBoffin pointed out that Figueiredo went to zonal marking on the 6 yard box.

- This simplified role, ensures he can focus on defending a zone & attacking the ball.

- Figueiredo is suspended for tonight's game against #SWFC after picking up 5 yellow cards.

- Dawson or Mbe Soh will start in his place as McKenna is injured, it will be interesting to see what role they take up.

- Also going forward will Hughton trust Figueiredo?
