i still firmly believe the wokeness fight in the chirch is a culture war, and not a theology war. it won't be settled through biblical exegesis. the BWS video and broader conservative reaction are shooting in the right direction but they aren't hitting the target.

yes there is a sense in which the Word is being attacked by mar*xist/critical theories. but the conservative reaction is still stuck on "the Bible isnt se*xist! the Bible isnt raci*st! the Bible isn't h*omoph*obic!" when aktchually by ma*rxist/critical criteria, it is.

few conservatives have really reckoned with how deeply they've been influenced by mu*lti*cult*uralism and pl*urali*sm, by liberal democracy as a worldview.

what's really under attack is the kingdom-of-earth known as Western Christendom. this is why accusations of heresy don't alight. this isn't an ecclesiastical fight over doctrine. it's a kingdom-of-earth civil war over resources.
