Bias? When Texas and 17 other states, plus 106 members of Congress, asked the Supreme Court to hear a lawsuit against Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin, I could find NO articles reporting on it and relied on reading all the court filings to write a column about it. 1/
2. The instant that the Supreme Court issued an order rejecting the case for lack of standing (not on the merits or the issues), notifications and articles IMMEDIATELY appeared from major news outlets, rushing to report that "Trump lost." 2/
3. Today a judge in Michigan lifted an order that had blocked the release of the results of a forensic audit of Dominion Voting Systems machines in Antrim County, where a supposed "glitch" led to a switch of thousands of votes. Once again, NO reporting from major news outlets. 3/
4. The report is here if you would like to read it for yourself. https://beta.documentcloud.org/documents/20423772-antrim-county-forensics-report I found no mainstream news stories on this very significant report, which calls into question the reliability and security of election results tallied with these Dominion systems.... 4/
7. As of this hour, that's it for online news coverage of this highly disturbing report that calls into question the results of 2020 elections in multiple counties and multiple states. If you read the report, you'll see the vote switching documented in a school board race. 7/
8. And here's a page from the report documenting that the algorithm for "ranked choice voting" was "enabled," which suggests the votes for candidates were weighted -- calculated as points, not counted as votes. 8/
10. Whether you're for Biden or Trump or don't care or you're moving to Canada either way, it is still a news story that a nationally implemented electronic voting system has been shown to be vulnerable to manipulation by local officials or others with a USB drive and access. 10/
11. So I call on the journalism profession to start reporting the news. I think what we're seeing is an entire industry mobilizing to bury news stories that they believe will affect public opinion in ways that they think, or have been told, are not helpful. That's the end.
