Dislikes:
❌No mention of short-range aerosol transmission
❌Ongoing false assumption that close contact transmission = droplet transmission
❌Commenting on R0 with no mention of K/dispersion

Relevant facts:
✅Average human hair is 60-100um diameter
✅Droplets > 100um behave like small wet cannonballs, landing on your face or in your eye/mouth
✅96%, 99% & 94% of particles emitted while coughing, sneezing & speaking are aerosols (<100um) (Duguid JP 1946)

@PublicHealthON working theory?

People catch COVID from large virus-filled saliva cannonballs landing on their face while somehow avoiding inhaling the >94% of aerosolizing particles emitted by the infected person 🤔
