One part of “celebrity” that is particularly weird is that we assume the shit celebrities show us (or, really, allow us to see) is intentional communication of a thing rather than like... a human existing??? Lmao it’s always been weird to me.

I really am seeing a fat bitch trying to figure out the “right” way to be fat, and learning that there is no right way. In real time. She’s trying and failing publicly, which, on top of being fat, is I’m sure a daily navigation of violence.
It’s too hard being Fat in the world, for me to pimp bad on her for a detox. Sure, parts of this are informed by fatphobia (and ableism as I was checked on in an earlier CH discussion) and we can’t critique that. We can critique parts of this, sure. But the whole? Mmm.. nah.
