We have heard from a number of community members who are feeling fearful of losing access to FB and IG accounts after the anticipated change in Community Guidelines on December 20th. 1/
FOSTA had a heavy impact on our community, and it's easy in the wake of that legislation, and with renewed attention to online content in the media, to feel like every change to ToS / Community Guidelines feels like a direct threat. 2/
We at H2 don't have information as to how these new guidelines will be used or enforced, but FB's existing guidelines already can and have been used to exclude and deplatform us.

We have developed what tools we can to resist and mitigate the harm of account shutdowns. 3/

In the face of IG Community Guideline change and any changes to come, we will continue to fight against tech exclusion, against the profiling of people in the sex trades, and for increased access to the very platforms we have helped build. 9/
