Two lessons I learned early which have proved invaluable when dealing with your employer
1. Document everything
2. Know what key words to use to signal to the HR department that you know your rights and are just waiting to sue the shit out of them
"Why yes, this is a personal expression of a cultural or religious identity which doesn't interfere with my ability to do my job. U mad, teamwork boi?"
Keep in mind, if someone in management was to send a shitty email about this employee or any other, and the email was discovered as part of a wrongful termination suit, it's a six figure settlement. Easy. Saw it happen
"You're not a team player? Won't work for free? You're never gonna make it in this industry, I'll make sure of it!"

And yes, by 2020 there are a slew of resentful, bitter lawyers who are the failspawn of legacy New England WASP lawyers marrying idealistic jewish girls who practiced EEO law at Raytheon in the 80s. They are your best friend
