Below are additions I believe we need to get back towards challenging for top honors with efficient fund allocation.

Profiles in order of priority:
1. AM/LCM creative 8
2. DM Anchor
3. Overlapping RB
4. Rotation RCM capable in/out to cover the vacated space from RB
5. Back-up for Tierney (replacing Kola)

Houssem Aouar: A complete technician capable in 2-way decision able to block passing lanes/engage in defensive pressures.
An interchange with Martinelli/Saka (depending on opposition) sharing the LCM/LW half-spaces would eliminate our left-side dependency.

Difficult to see past this critical addition & one I believe is worth the wait. Getting Pepe into more central areas is critical for future success of this team & project.
To facilitate this increased freedom as the wing fwd, our MF balance requires the LCM 8 to be more creative

MF Balance the critical barrier to our current plight that limits our ability to be expansive & maintain consistent attacking patterns.
I prefer a hybrid of Liverpool's system to limit the vacancy of central areas. Would allow us to be more malleable to alternative formations.

If the left side is allowed to have fluid interchange b/w MF and wingers, I'd prefer our right side to encourage the outlet to be a defender in order to maintain our ability to be compact in transition.
Result? Our RCM 8 needs to be capable in/out to cover the vacated space.

Boubakary Soumaré: A '6' capable in big spaces that allows us to control transitions whilst being press resistant to drop in the defense & facilitate build-up.
Provides the mental security for creative invention further up the pitch & a capable backup to Partey.

Many have questioned my intuition in securing our MF anchor to facilitate increased MF creativity.
Simply put, we lack a MF capable of winning their individual 1 v 1 duels who can compete over long distances, limits our creative freedom in the final 3.

*Plan B to limit EPL Adaptation:
Yves Bissouma: An EPL alternative who would perform a similar role with reduced time for adaptation.
A player I believe doesn't sacrifice the quality of my 1 choice but may be more expensive.

3. Overlapping RB
Achraf Hakimi: A 'leggy' RB capable of dominating the right flank, arguably the best-attacking RB on the market. To complete this formation a dominant runner on the outside is crucial. The security of a 'defensive' RCM 8 limits our vulnerability on the counter.

The following additions are FREE transfers that provide depth and round out the squad.

Gini Wijnaldum: No one better than the Liverpool man to not only perform this role but understand its significance.

Mykola Matviyenko: An efficient solution that aligns with Mikel's philosophy perfectly as an inverted solution that can effectively provide final 3 entries in the deep left channel whilst competent defending wide spaces.

The biggest changes are a MF revamp which ideally allow us to express our desired philosophy & can get us competing again.
