The process of bringing landowners and subsequently peasants down to their knees started during Khijis's time itself and it was seen as an Ixlamic achievement to bring Hindus in general,down to the level of beggars. Contemporary Muxlim writers felt elated at the effort. Read on!

There are so many references about how Ixlamic rule destroyed lives of farmers and trading class in general to raise their royalty . It's funny when their progenies cry about condition of farmers while admiring the same bigots in the same breath.
