Sugarhouse ( @PlaySugarHouse) is the first NJ regulated sportsbook to limit my bets. I know I told you that I would say why they limited the size of my bets, but I don’t know why. Here is the story for how Sugarhouse stopped giving me sugar, and started giving me Splenda. https://twitter.com/boogiedownpicks/status/1338519008623128585
In late 2018, I opened a Sugarhouse account and started making relatively small sized wagers. Since I opened my account, I have been a consistently profitable player.
Fast forward to 2020 and I am making larger sized wagers, but still relatively small wagers by sports betting standards. My betting style is to bet a low amount on a high volume of games. Only using a sportsbook when they offer the best payout among regulated NJ sportsbooks.
Starting two weeks ago, Sugarhouse (aka Splendahouse) started to subject my pre-game bets to manual verification. To me that is an inconvenience, but reasonable. It gives them a chance to see what I am doing before they accept my action.
Then on Sunday when I logged into Splendahouse to lay NFL and NCAAB bets, I noticed a change.
Splendahouse was either accepting my bets as is, or limiting my bets even after manual verification.

Here are the bets that Sugarhouse limited yesterday:
NFL: Detroit Lions Under 1.5 Touchdowns (+100)
$100 bet limited to $84.88
NCAAB: Mississippi Valley State University at Vanderbilt: Over 157.5 Points (-111)
$30 bet limited to $12.12

I understand that they want to limit their risk, but I am not going to break their bank. If they accept much bigger wagers from square bettors, why shouldn’t they accept smaller wagers from “recreational sharps” like myself. Concerned about this I contacted customer service.
Customer service first dodged my question stating that they have the right to limit bets. I then pressed them and they stated that they don’t handle bets, Kambi their odds provider does. I asked them if I can talk to Kambi to find out why I have been limited, and they said no.
What I would like to find out from @PlaySugarHouse and @KambiSports is why have I been limited? This is no longer an issue only affecting professional sports bettors like @spanky, @capjack2000, or @BillKrackman. This is an issue affecting small bettors who are profitable.
