I can't believe how much time people wasted talking about chatbots and voice assistants.
Always important in tech to distinguish between what *might* happen and what *can't* happen - "is there a roadmap for this to start working?"
In this case, the only roadmap to delivering the slideware was General AI.
Chatbots were also a great example of nonsense about consumer tech in China. Everyone was saying WeChat ran on chatbots - it didn't, but you had to be able to read Chinese (and probably open the app while physically in China) to use the product and find out for yourself.
