Underrated/Overrated by EAs, the @threadapalooza thread as requested. I'm going to list things which *compared to me* I think the median EA under-rates as underrated, and vice versa. Importantly, I'm *not* going to filter out things where we're both on the same side of good/bad.
I'm also *not* going to filter out things where I disagree with the general public more than with the median EA. i.e. if I think something has value 90, median EA thinks it has value 100, and Joe Public thinks it has value 1, it's *underrated*.
I'll add things as I think of them, but if you comment something I'll reply with whether it's under/over/appropriate.
To start with, underrated:
