A bunch of nerds seriously thinking that Lucasarts will de-canonize the sequels is both hilarious and sad at the same time. They were blockbuster movies and were so many kids first intro to Star Wars. They aren't removing them from canon.
Look at this. They aren't going to turn their backs on the next generation of fans just because of some pissed off nerds.
In fact, I hope they explore the sequel era more. Give it the same love and care that the prequels got with the Clone Wars show and comics. The future is a blank canvas. Explore Rey, Poe, Finn, Ben etc.
This is not in any way a "actually the sequels are good" thread. If you liked them or not is a matter of opinion.
But Disney and Lucasarts are not going to de-canonize three very lucrative movies because some loud nerds did not like them when there were a lot of people that did.
