The thing about #Cyberpunk2077 is I know a lot of people who are now shitting on the game were calling us SJWs for calling out its transphobia and other shittiness before launch.

Even now they'll still say that's irrelevant. But transphobes were never gonna make a good game.

Like, the whole thing about intersectionality is that "shittiness tends to be connected to other shittiness." Transphobes are likely to also have shitty opinions on labour, so they'll treat their workers poorly, which is why the CDPR's staff got crunched so brutally.

What does transphobia have to do with withholding last-gen console review copies? Nothing direct, of course, but we transes continually warn everyone that nobody restricts their shittiness to just the one quirk of being a transphobe while otherwise being a morally integral saint.

Also, a corporation that refuses to understand trans people by definition cannot have an understanding of cyberpunk's actual genre themes, so yeah it was gonna make a shitty pro-capitalist hackjob.

Shittiness is holistic. It's never confined to one sphere.

Transphobic edgy capitalist corporation that physically and psychologically abuses its workers from country currently run by violently bigoted fascists: very unlikely to make a good cyberpunk game.

Also I've heard rumours that CDPR donated to PiS, the Polish political party currently working on banning abortion, persecuting LGBTQ people and encouraging violence against ethnic minorities.

I'd love absolute confirmation or falsification, but damn is it believable.
