searching it in eng brings next to nothing, and altho searching in jpn will get u some results, the real info can be found in chinese for that reason.

so let’s start with the plot + characters! (and pls keep in mind not all this info may be accurate. i searched long and hard, and i’m just doing my best to go off what friends & i could find.)

this is all we know abt the plot for the manga. but, thanks to a good friend of mine, ( @tyaroemon) cam was able to find issues of the magazine that serialized the manga for sale!!

ive put my order in and am waiting for my proxy to receive them. some of the issues were not for sale & it’s unknown how long the series ran,but we did our best to find the ones that we are sure have rion... i will try to scan & post when i have them!! (mangabar is defunct now..)
there also appears to be a japanese ver, but these listings were long sold out (suruga-ya jpn site). if i can find them i want to buy them as well and be able to compare differences, if any aside the language
but now, onto a sadder part, there is a lost anime of this series. we have found various websites and proof that it existed. many sources even say it won an award for”best overseas animation”, so it’s very sad it’s lost. we reached a dead end here to find more...

searching the series in japanese will bring up two niconico videos of short snippets of work on the anime, these are all that have been found.

animecore fans may have seen this photo. i think this is from wonder festival, which is a japanese event that happens every year to showcase prototypes of upcoming figures and garage kits, etc. this photo is what got me to search into all this as an avid figure lover... lol
i reached out to azusa rei who was credited as the sculptor on wonderfes’ site, and they confirmed making these and the designs. they sent me these photos of an event in china, saying someone from sanriowave shared it with them.

and that is all we have found aside various other stuff, but it didn’t really add to this thread. i believe there is merchandise floating around somewhere tho, it seems too sad for me to think all of that was made and just thrown out...

i hope we can find out more info on these girls. pls pls share if u liked it, i spent a lot of days and hours searching around and so did my two friends who helped me out. it was hard finding info. if anyone wants to share this to the lost media places go ahead ^_^
