It annoys me how the narrative around Arsenal paints them as a good team last season who have declined now.

The main reasons behind Arsenal's success were Martinez and Aubayemang. One was stopping every shot, the other was scoring every shot. That was never going to continue.
I've seen nothing from Arteta to suggest he's a Premier League calibre coach. Almost all his big wins last season were down to laughable luck.

Arsenal fans are right to enjoy lucky trophies, like other clubs do, but that doesn't mean Arteta was the architect behind any of it.
Arsenal have been an objectively mediocre, if not terrible, team under Arteta. A good team creates chances and prevents them. Arsenal does neither and no amount of "philosophy" or PR antics will change it.

Don't confuse Martinez turning into 17-18 De Gea with good coaching.
Lampard and Ole have received stereotypical tags of being bad "tacticians" despite showing signs that they're indeed fine. Don't get this wrong, they're still flawed.

Guardiola's assistant, who has turned an average team into an awful one, is called a "tactical master".

🤷‍♂️
Arsenal have become infamous for their "superficial" players - players who look they're doing a good job without actually doing it. They make you think they're good but they're not.

It's very poetic that they've got Arteta as their coach. https://twitter.com/ExpectedChelsea/status/1282640941568819202
