Many people don’t realize that a majority of the fake foods, seed oils and chemicals that are killing us have mainly only been a thing for the past 70 years or so(WW2 being a huge contributor). Since the beginning of time humans have eaten animal products and saturated fats....
Yet somehow these foods have been vilified but not the foods that are relatively new to the diet. When lard, butter, milk, meat & cheese were the accepted norm for diet, hardly anyone was overweight. Today these are not the accepted norm and about 70% Americans are overweight.
The norm today consists of sick and diseased animal products doused in seed oils and corn products doused in sugar. The average American today eats a whopping 71g of sugar DAILY (the suggested max intake is 25-30g though I propose the number should be 0),
seed oils are in every household and the majority of people’s diet are just sugary corn products with little to no nutrients. Prior to all of this and prior to the food pyramid, you can observe in photos how flat people’s stomachs were (lack of gut inflammation) unlike today
The average American body has changed so much over the decades and it is important to recognize these changes because it shows us that only within these past few decades has something significantly changed that has fast tracked our demise.
Today we are a completely nutrient depleted nation with so many “luxuries” (beds, shoes, TVs, 9-5 office jobs, couches, chairs, beauty products, etc.) that work against us and further damage our bodies.
So much has occurred that has led up to our demise (chemical revolution, digital revolution, agricultural revolution etc.) but pair all of that on top of a nation fed mostly by sugar and grains and you have a recipe for disaster.
It’s time we stop vilifying *quality* animal products and start pointing fingers at the foods that were never in our primal diet to begin with.P.S. modern day wheat is radiation bred, today’s mutated wheat was never a part of the primal diet because it’s mutated form didn’t exist
