My Favorite Albums & Songs of 2020
Decided to do this a bit early this year as there’s a lot going on. Anything released after Dec. 15 will be added to honorable mentions. If any placements are contradicting older tweets it doesn’t matter; it’s just a list.
Great music year!

Adding an album to my top 5 just a day or two after I first heard it might seem dumb. But some albums are just that convincing; the atmosphere and creativity @PinkSiifu & @flyanakin displays on this record is difficult to compete with.

Every now and then it’s not about mindblowing concepts or revolutionary ideas; if I’m entertained I’m entertained, and @ActionBronson's latest record had me laughing more than any other project released this year, all accompanied by an amazing consistent sound.

I went into this album expecting to be disappointed. But as it played, I stopped my car, turned around, and delayed my return home just to listen to it 3 times in a row. Every track has insane energy and dope new ideas. @BustaRhymes proved his legendary status once again.

The mysterious SLINGBAUM’s project has the most incredible list of guests I’ve ever seen. That doesn’t mean much by itself, but the music also turned out to be some of the most mindblowing, eerie, beautiful and fascinating I’ve heard in years. I can't believe this worked.

It hasn’t been this easy to pick a #1 AOTY for me since Danny’s XXX. It’s difficult to explain why @ELZHI's latest is so amazing, but every single thing he says completely pulls me in, while @jrswiftz's incredible beats only boost the consistent mood & immersion.

Dinner Party created one of the most beautiful, yet heartbreaking songs of the year. @Phoelix_ heartfelt vocals describing everything that has been going on for way too long over an iconic-sounding guitar track by @MARLONWILLIAMS1.

@blackxnoise dropped one of my favorite albums of the year; a dramatic, nasty, well-produced project with an incredible guest list, with the highlight being this one featuring my all-time fav. @xdannyxbrownx, delivering one of his best features.

I can’t remember the last time I had something on repeat for this long. I don’t even know how to explain why I’m so in love with this track from @PeteRock, but it makes me feel insanely good.

The final track on SLINGBAUM’s project featuring some of @bilal & @Damonalbarn's best performances over absolutely perfect harmonies from Syd, while a just as impressive band of instrumentali-… I can’t explain it. Please try to find this track and listen to it. Mind blown.

I knew this track by @quellechris & @chriskeys would be my song of the year from the moment I first heard it.
Not only is it an incredible track, but it has meant incredibly much to me throughout 2020. It has been able to capture a unique mood we should all connect with.
