I have now finished jumping through the hoops, but the ACA architects' idea that people would prefer shopping for insurance plans to being auto-enrolled in something is genuinely one of the most insane things to ever happen in politics.

Relatedly, it's very bad that the way the primary played out the HUGE differences between the Biden public option vision (blah) and the Pete/Beto/CAP vision (actually kind of awesome) got erased.

All of which is to say that as a small business owner, I would greatly appreciate creating a solid default option and you can easily accomplish that without immediately transitioning everyone off their employer plans.
