It's really amazing. Leila Khaled, who never killed anyone, is vilified to this day for hijacking planes. Meanwhile, if you're Zionists who plotted to hijack a Soviet airliner, you're "brave Jews" who "chose to act and changed the course of history." https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/50-years-ago-a-failed-hijacking-brought-light-into-the-world/
Not only is the foiled Zionist hijacking celebrated and lionised, but @TimesofIsrael article thinks it should be a cause for Hannukah celebration because it "brought light into the world."
What we learn, again, is that Zionists do not object in principle to hijacking or other forms of what is called terrorism (Zionist terror bombings in Mandatory Palestine were a bloody speciality), but only object to such tactics being used for the cause of Palestine.
As @RBrulin reminds us, there are few entities that have directly perpetrated or sponsored more terrorism than Israel. https://twitter.com/RBrulin/status/1333781452190855168
