Preseason night three delivered some more good stuff from young players!

The Magic ran a lot of minutes with Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz together and it looked alright. Anthony is crafty. Here is a nice fake into a turnaround for a bucket.
Trae Young drops a mile off Markelle Fultz under the screen here. This is a shot Fultz has to be willing to take. Good rhythm and form as he buries the stepback triple.
The Hawks are probably going to be somewhat cautious with Rajon Rondo in the regular season. Kris Dunn is hurt. That leaves some backup PG minutes for Kevin Huerter. With the wing logjam, plays like this simple drive and kick can get Huerter on the floor as a ballhandler.
De'Andre Hunter probably needs to start for Atlanta, because he's the best wing defender they have among the starters. The Hawks have a lot of offense, but if Hunter can make plays like this, he's helpful too. Just get behind the arc next time young fella!
Deni Avdija had quite the debut! He hit a few threes by showing good floor-balance awareness. This play was my favorite though. He gets by Taurean Prince before floating it up and over Jarrett Allen. This is a good NBA move!
As a rookie, teams could switch a small on Rui Hachimura, because he drifted to the perimeter. Multiple times he got smalls and buried them in the post for buckets. That's showing his improved awareness & willingness to use his strength. Here's a nice up fake into the lefty dunk.
I believe in RJ Barrett. I think he's going to get there. Last year was rough for him because of the roster around him. But he can play. All the best big wings have the move where they drive the paint and hit the little fallaway. Good to see Barrett add this one.
Sekou Doumbouya played really well. Hit some jumpers, showed improved court awareness. I like this one. He makes a quick decision, uses the crossover to create space and finishes in traffic.
For rookie point guards, one of the harder passes to master is the drive and kick to the opposite corner. Killian Hayes does a nice job here. Also good to see Josh Jackson drill a few jumpers. Jackson has late-bloomer written all over him.
Remember all those Al Horford comps for Wendell Carter Jr? This is a reminder of why. Pretty backdoor pass here to Zach LaVine for the easy dunk.
I'm falling in love with Tyrese Haliburton's game. On this play he shows great patience, keeps his dribble to let the traffic clear and then delivers the pass to the corner. And this pass is thrown with his weak hand too. Good stuff!
I'm not going to be able to find just one good play from Talen Horton-Tucker. He was awesome last night. All game long too. Go find one of those YouTube compilations because THT was deep in his bag!
