3. has gone so far as to deny states that have D governors covid testing & other aid, and McConnell has said out loud, point blank, the GOP is blocking aid to states & local govs, which have been forced to shoulder the costs of all the extra emergency services- ESP EMT services,
4. which has obviously been enormous, as well as all the costs that school systems have had to absorb. Then there are the police. Who the GOP is literally defunding by withholding money to them. Ds are BEGGING for money to fund law enforcement and it is the Republicans defunding
5. the police (pass it on!) In every other western democracy- their legislatures have shown up for the people providing both direct and indirect economic aid. ROBUST aid. Dependable aid. Continuous aid. There is only one country where economic aid has been stingy, infrequent,
6. and massively insufficient and that is here, in the United States of America. There is only 1 reason why this is happening. It is happening bc the Republican Party controls the Senate and is using control of the Senate to prevent economic aid for reaching the American people.
7. If this roadblock could be removed (and guess what!! It CAN!! On Jan 5th! By showing up and voting if you live in GA and voting for @ossoff & @ReverendWarnock & giving control of senate to Ds so Biden can actually govern than this economic desperation can end.
