The Secretary of State had to come verify and credential me.

True story: I almost wore shorts but @giselefetterman pulled rank and put a stop to that right quick.

She was right, of course, since I even got detained wearing pants which was already “dressing up”

And finally, it must be said, if I was a member of the Capitol police I would have totally detained me too.
