Did I find God at the lake or was it just Lady Luck?

//THREAD//
Do you believe in the Law of Attraction?

Did you just answer that question in your head?

All day long we are talking to ourselves in our head

In fact, what we think about the most shows up in our life

Why

Because you create reality w/ your thoughts

Let me explain...
Do you know someone who complains all the time?

What are they always talking & thinking about?

Problems! And not just their own!

They can even take a good situation and find a way to make it negative

They've become great at finding problems

They see problems everywhere
But if it's possible to create more problems in your life by thinking and talking about problems all the time

What if you thought and talked about being LUCKY all the time?

Well I decided to test it out

A few years ago I started telling myself

I am so lucky, I am so lucky
I kept telling myself everyday how lucky I am and guess what happened

You guessed it! I started getting lucky

But not how you'd expect

I started saying I was lucky so much I wanted to find something I was lucky about

First, it started off small like I'd make a green light
Then I started realizing there were a lot more things that made me lucky

• I woke up
• My kids were healthy
• I can walk and talk

I started believing I was lucky so much I started really believing I am a lucky person and good things always always happen to me
Yesterday I went to a lake by my house that I never go to

Just had the urge to go sit down and read by the lake

I was sitting there I was on my phone and ended up
shutting it off (I never do that)

Then as I started reading a family came to go fishing
and the guy saw my books
So he asked me, "Are you a Christian?"

It struck me as odd because it was out of the blue

I said, "Yes I am, why do you ask?"

He said, "I saw your books and figured you were"

Now my books were on Influence and Persuasion
I didn't see how he connected the 2 but I assumed he wanted to talk and I went with it

After an hour of talking about the bible, God, and life in general

We bonded and had a really good, deep talk

It felt good and I know he felt good too

And as I was about to leave I told him
I have a belief I am so lucky

And I always tell myself I'm lucky and I try to find
things every day to prove I'm lucky

I told him I feel lucky to have come here today because I never do and I feel lucky having met him and having such a great conversation

Then it was time..
I thanked him and I left and I got in my car and drove away

I pulled out of the parking lot and turned and got to the corner and stopped at a red light

I started daydreaming about the great time I just had and our amazing conversation, I felt so lucky

I didn't even realize..
The light had turned green and I was still sitting there

But just as I was about to go

A car going at least 70 mph blew threw the red light

If I had gone I would've got hit really hard

She was going so fast, I might not have made it home last night

As I watched her go by...
Sitting there I couldn't help but think

Wow, I am so lucky I didn't go when the light turned green

I felt a presence, I felt God, I felt my new friend

I drove home feeling so blessed and really aware of how lucky I am

I texted my new friend and told him what happened
He texted me back

You sure are lucky and I feel lucky to have met you

That felt so good!

That's how you become lucky

If you believe it and feel it then you'll start to have good luck

But you have to start noticing all the good luck you already have too!

You are lucky!
