But seriously, in the last 40 years, women working outside the home is now the norm, yet we somehow also spend triple the time with our kids. Virtually nothing about society has altered to accommodate working women. We’ve just increased the demands on women’s time and labour
Glennon Doyle wrote that this generation of kids are the most over-parented but under-protected. She meant in relation to US gun culture, but it stuck with me as widely applicable. Parents (mothers) spend vastly more time and worry on our kids, yet are their outcomes any better?
