In today's sceneraio Bhupesh Baghel in Chhattisgarh looks safe, he had lost momentum after local urban bodies election last year in December 2019. In one year he has recovered successfully, he is different than other Congress leaders. Anti-incumbency starts (Thread Cont.)
Generally anti Incumbency starts very soon against Congress governmenta in any state, but here in Chhattisgarh Baghel has tried everything from Hinduism card to Direct cash benefit to farmers.
Although, his ground feedback is mixed, farmers are 55:45 in his favour, public still in wait and watch mode. 15 years anti incumbency against BJP was very heavy and presently BJap organization looks weak in front of 70 seats Ruling Congress.
BJP need to come out from slumbering mode and should become pro active against Congress government in CG, public is not ready to see Dr Raman and old group of leaders now, need complete change in state leadership this should be understood by Central leaders (IF) they r serious
For Chhattisgarh, otherwise it looks easy for Congress in 2023. Why? I will answer in next 1-2 threads.
This is campaign song of CG Congress government after completing successful 2 years. It clearly based on local Pride called "Chhattisgarhi Pride" those who belongs to CG can understand this theme, it has capabilitiy to engage local residents.
Though this theme based on local pride is just matter of time but; Baghel amidst of CM change noise is trying to corner Central leadership and trying to connect with local audience who have given him votes and 70 seats.
He was not CM face before Chhattisgarh assembly elections but after getting receiving chair, he has done minimum mistakes and given minimum chances to BJP to corner him. Let's see how things will build-up in next 3 years. But I will rate his performance 6/10 and so he looks safe
In todays scenario Congress in Chhattisgarh can achieve 50-55 and BJP can achieve 34-39, others except BSP has minimum chance to win anything out of 90 assembly seats in state.
