Yesterday I got a pretty cool and important milestone of 1000 consecutive days of entries to my mood score app, @hellodaylio.
Why I think this is particularly important is because I spend roughly 5-10 minutes per day dedicated to checking my mood and mental well-being.

This equates to roughly 125 hours or 5.2 days of time spent checking my mood in this app.
I spent roughly (very rough estimate) about 340 days of this time period sleeping.

So during my waking hours, roughly 0.8% of my time has been spent mood checking.
Anyway, enough of the numbers, here are some observations.

I love Saturdays. In 2018, 2019 & 2020 it has been my happiest day of the week.

Obviously I'm someone who lives 4 da weekend xo
This is my year in moods.

Orange = amazing
Green = good
Purple = ok
Blue = bad
Dark blue = awful

Pretty much all orange days are from holidays (shout-out to Mexico in January) or doing something with friends.
I also discovered that the day after a run I had a dip in my mood...

Trying to work out whether it's the fact I hate running that I spend the following day miserable or it makes me so happy that the mood can't be matched the following day.

I'd like to say it's the latter...
Whilst this year had been absolute shit, starting to make ceramics and switching to a 4 day week has helped to bring stability to my mind and has no doubt reduced the number of average or bad days.

I currently spend around 10 weeks in the studio making ceramics.
In general, tracking my mood has been incredibly positive for myself. It hasn't fixed anything by any means, but helps me to become more aware of myself.
And by no means is this the solution to everything.

This is a small fraction of what I do (therapy, written diary, spending time with people/doing things I love) to help keep my mind stable and functioning.
To wrap up, I'd recommend it highly!
