Freelance introverts will always do great work, but you’ll get the very best from them if you follow these seven tips (THREAD)
#freelancing #introversion

Introverts dread being trapped in interactions that drag on, because their energy gets drained over time. If you want a meeting, fix a clear agenda and keep to a time limit.

Don’t invite more people to a meeting than you need to. The more social space there is, the more value you’ll get from an introvert.

If you want to know what an introvert thinks, ask them. Then leave space for their answer and stop others from interrupting.

Put everything in writing that you can. It doesn’t have to be polished. An introvert will happily work through it.

If you want to speak on the phone, arrange a time in advance. Don’t put the introvert in the position of having to decline your call.

Politely ask how your introvert is doing, but don't pry. They probably won’t want to reveal too much.

If you’re happy with the work, offer to write a review. Reviews are invaluable for introverts, because they say things on their behalf that they find hard to say for themselves.
