Over a year ago I bought food from a really popular restaurant in East Legon. I swore to everyone I spoke to afterwards that they had the best roast chicken I had ever had. I went ahead and bought the same thing several times after that and it never tasted the same....1/
I let myself buy the food more times after that because I honestly thought that they were just having a bad spell and that I’d eventually get the roast chicken I wanted. Finally I bought food from them for the last time, that day I called them and begged them not to sell... 2/
to anyone else because it was almost inedible. So much salt and so horrible that I, a customer called and pleaded with them to throw that batch away. I wasn’t even upset about the bad food, I was genuinely worried that they were going to lose customers especially....3/

or visiting or even knows you, they always put their best food forward. Therefore you might have a great experience that the rest of us would not have because of who you are. As a food blogger it is your duty before reviewing any restaurant to have at least tried the food...6/

The plating of the food should be consistent across all boards. If you become friendly with these restauranteurs, it is more difficult for you to criticize because then emotions are involved but it is possible to be honest. Also restaurants should be judged based on...8/

and are not considering the rest. I now realize that that roast chicken was a fluke and all the subsequent orders were actually what their food tasted like.
Honesty is very important but especially important if you are a food blogger. Be firm and be truthful.
