Writing is Not Rocket Science.✍️

Lets get that out of the way before we begin.

How to start and not get stuck on your Writing Journey?

THREAD 🧵🧵
Writing requires you to put in time and effort. Not just for the sake of it but to actually think, write and rewrite.

Remember that first drafts are always thrash, but writing that thrash is so very important to recycle and make something out of it.
How really to start then?

Don’t expect a magic formula here.

Only writing and writing alone will really get you started.
That may be true but the bigger question is what should you write?

Pick a theme in which you can narrate your own story.

When you have experienced something it always makes it easier to write at least to begin with.
Then comes Consistency.

A consistent person is more likely to learn something new than a talented person.

This applies to writing as well.

The more consistent you are, the more you learn, relearn and recycle.
Being consistent is great.

But being consistent with a plan is even better.
Start with journaling consistently everyday.

The more you do this the more comfortable you will get with the idea of writing each and everyday.

And with time you become better at it.
Writing consistently is great.

But it is even better when you get real time feedback.

So pick a social platform and start writing and feedback will make its way to you.

Take the feedback and keep working on it. And you will start getting better each day.
Then comes Repetitions.

The more the repetitions the better you get at anything in life.

Applies to writing as well.

It doesn't matter how your content is when you start off, but it is very important to have an internal deadline and keep writing and posting regularly.
