Over the last few days @MhairiHunter has insisted Mridul Wadhwa is a woman despite offering no proof, no definition of women that Wadhwa can be shown to be. Hunter is in an influential position to the First Minister. Wadhwa is manager of a Rape Crisis Centre. Thus Wadhwa’s sex...
is important because Rape Crisis themselves insist only female staff should be working at a centre. Rape Crisis services are covered by the single sex exemptions in the 2010 Equalities Act. Yet Hunter defends the idea, with no proof whatsoever that Wadhwa is a woman. What can we
deduced from Hunters behaviour about the nature of Government in Scotland? Either Hunter has gone rogue, in which case should she be removed from her position? Or we are being asked to believe what Hunter & the government says about the definition of a women? Hunter & by
association the Government are acting in the manner of ideologues, dictators who proclaim truth. Furthermore, Hunter uses social shaming to try have her belief given primacy over known biological facts. Soon Scotland may have the Hate Crimes Bill impinged upon them, which may be
able to make declaring biological truths a hate crime. Hunters social shaming approach to definitional power will be backed by state force. Now if all this seems fanciful and perhaps nothing to be worried about, think back to the 20th century and the way in which horrific regimes
gained their power through the insistence & enforcement of ideology over facts. Are we to see re-education camps/gulags in Scotland, brutal social shunning, neighbour spying on neighbour (oh wait the Hate Crimes Bill can do that through technology now)?

Be afraid be very afraid
PS - I’ll bet a pound to a penny Hunter will be along shortly accusing me of some twisted version of what I’ve actually said in this thread.
