The possibilities of the treasury are endless, it can be used to increase the Liquidity of GRO and certain locked LPs, it can be diversified into other tokens and strategies to make profit and then buyback GRO with it, put price floors for GRO and much more...
The DAO makes all the admin functions related to gTokens and PMTs (mainly Liquidity migrations) now be controlled by stkGRO holders, this should be a long term boost in confidence given that the proper management of the contracts don't rely on the team anymore.
