When I was a very young Marine in San Diego, I was at a theatre with a buddy of mine.
We were in line when a woman with a son in leg braces walked by; he was so excited to see the movie, his stuttering voice was echoing off the walls.
Some dude in front of us started mocking him.

He started walking goofy, stuttering, just being awful when he knew the boy & his mom could hear him.
Anger building, I looked at my buddy and asked if he had seen it.
Mouth so tight I swear his jaw was steel, he slightly nodded.
I looked back at the bully, who was carrying on.

I looked back at my friend to let him know I was going to say something, and saw him move swiftly.
A tap on the shoulder, and the bully turned towards him.
One swift pop.
Bully is bleeding in the ground, actually crying.
I stepped up to help with the bully’s buddies, when chaos.

Security burst from doors on both sides, moving towards us. My buddy threw up his hands & surrendered.
Security immediately went to the downed man, and grabbed him up, the manager simply saying, “We were watching on the camera.”
They dragged him away, & I noticed the mom staring.

Fear was in her eyes as she looked down at her happily oblivious boy.
No one said anything.
The bully’s friends were asked if they were with him- they looked at me & my friend (especially him) sheepishly and said, “Not anymore.”
Everyone left, & we watched the mom take him in.

As soon as the door closed, the crowd broke into applause, something my stoic friend ignored.
My point? We have become a Nation that accepts bullies. We think a punch to the nose- a good lesson indeed- is too harsh.
We think we owe the bullies of the world our consideration.

Well we don’t.
Some people need to know that real men and women still exist. The kind that built this Nation. We know a bully when we see one, and we know wrong when it happens.
It doesn’t take a Marine.
It takes an American who gets it. Who knows why the U.S. is so revered.

B/C if we don’t get this under control, the bullies- China, Antifa- they will keep pushing around the defenseless, and dancing while they do it.
These bullies don’t deserve our consideration; they need a punch to the nose.
Because that’s the ONLY thing a bully understands.
