When studying ancient texts, especially the Bible, there are two, very necessary, frameworks to read it through:

//THREAD// ⤵️
1.) There are the accounts of those alive at that time telling of events that legitimately happened; a Jewish lineage and history book.

AND

2.) There are the symbolic undertones in which “the message” is embedded.
The symbolism provides the backbone of the teaching itself. Without understanding this, a good chunk of the book’s wisdom is just lost.

But without those events unfolding, the symbolism is delegitimized.
The events are showing you that putting your entire being in the hands of YHWH, will lead to unimaginable results.

It has worked in the past and the accounts of these things are trying to tell you that it can happen to you as well.
Oftentimes we can get caught up in one and forget the other, this can happen to all of us.

Jesus himself is taken back when he learns of Nicodemus not understanding the necessity of being reborn.
These frameworks of understanding are crucial to have down in order to take away from the text what is meant to be Understood.

Without both working hand in hand you misuse the key to unlocking some of Life’s many mysteries. He who has ears let him hear!
