She's 4 and we've always suspected she was neurodivergent because the strangest things like open doors instead of closed ones would distress her when she was like 2.
She's 4 now. And she gets distressed at school from things that wouldn't bother neuro typical folks.
So her teacher taught her and the class the lyrics to this song to calm her down when she's distressed.
The lyrics are "no worries about a thing, because every little thing is gonna be alright."
And my mum just explained why she keeps singing it at home and its brought me to tears man.
My mum said when she gets distressed in class, whoever she is with (the other toddlers) will know to sing this to her to calm her down. Guys I'm just soooo moved by this đŸ˜©đŸ˜‚
And obviously because mum is Jamaican and has rasta parents we have a stronggggg tie to reggae. My mum can play this song from many albums and playlists in a heartbeat. Which she now does. Reinforced at school& home that everything will be alright when she's distressed.
