You never know how much truth is in this but confirms what I said weeks ago. The decisions Arteta made (Özil, Douzi) & his general zero tolerance approach does ONLY work when you have success. It's a bit "unfair" as it's just dependent on results but that's how it works. Everyone who played or coached knows that. If you have success, everthing you do is good. If not it's the other way around. Feel a bit sorry for Arteta but I can't see how he could turn that around.
I was in the exact same situation as an active player. Coach also did this zero tolerance approach & cut off 3-4 key players with discipline issues. As long as we won it was all good. Came the first losses came the big meltdown. It's the same on all levels.
