This past June I told @SenAlexander about the destruction of our national asset uranium-233 presently being downblended at ORNL ( @OakRidgeOffice). I informed that while the folks in Oak Ridge may want it gone, the CCP is spending $1/2B annually on their thorium program.

I also presented evidence, reported & anecdotal, about CCP’s thorium reactor program & MOU w/ ORNL @OakRidgeOffice where the CCP is paying ~$5M/yr for a “cooperative” R&D program on which American scientists do all the work (as reported by Victoria Bruce in her book Sellout).

ORNL was initially so secretive about the project that activists had to make a FOIA request. FIA-14-0019.

I informed the Sen. that former DOE officials under Obama had made agreements with CCP to help on their thorium reactor program while America did not have any such program of our own.

Moreover, I told the senator how Pete Lyons, fmr. DOE Asst. Sec., told Congress he saw no merit to using thorium, all while serving as Co-Chair for MOU executive committee for CCP thorium program. I found this truly shocking.

His CoS - David Clearly, was dismissive &/or unwilling to act on the national security threat presented. Even suggesting I was asking for an earmark which was absurd and insulting.
