The Trump thugs will come back to DC to burn and vandalize Black churches. If the @DCPoliceDept and @MayorBowser won't protect Black churches from fire and violence, the people of DC undoubtedly will.

And yes, what happened in DC yesterday should be a much bigger story. As in every member of @GOP should be asked to repudiate or support the racist violence in the streets of the capital of the United States.

And as @la_toque pointed out, I should have said the people of the DMV. A lot of working people have been priced out of DC but still have a sense of ownership and history connected to these streets... and will defend them.
