1) Never starting.
The thought of starting feels unrealistic or too much to bear.
There's a crippling 1st thought of "who am I to go for something so ambitious?"
Dreams are nice, and if you don’t pursue them, you won’t lose them. So you're stuck forever with unexecuted ideas.

2) Lack of focus.
Our most ambitious endeavors require an INSANE level of focus.
Creative energy means we must:
Explore our thoughts deeper.
Do the research.
Put unique pieces together.
Maybe most of all, it means not settling when you think you're "close enough."

3) Time consuming.
Plain and simple: You must be willing to put in the work.
This often includes time for skill development and/or constant editing of your work.

4) Fear of judgment.
Some are terrified of being criticized or appearing inauthentic to outsiders.
To become someone new or better, a part of you has to die, and that death is terrifying to many.
Your best work will never be completed if opinions are restricting your energy.

5) Cost/benefit misunderstanding.
You think the pursuit might cost you money, time, or energy that you can't afford to pay.
It WILL cost you, especially in the short-term.
If you can't envision ways to monetize or become so great that you/your work sells, motivation lacks.
