when you see "no work necessary on your end" for staking this means you are NOT! staking. Staking is work on a solo computer or device.

You can of course abdicate control over your assets (give ownership to an entity (trust them), pool, exchange, or otherwise.

If you don't have your own keys you aren't staking! Someone else is taking your profits AND pay close attention - >reduces the strength of a distributed network.

However, I know of a NEW technology coming out that will allow staking & no transfer of ownership, complete autonomy, and sovereignty maintained allowing *small groups* to stake together. Goodbye pools and hello to the return of a pure trustless environment.
