Let's get some fundamental things about of Democratic party the way: The Democratic party is owned by corporate donors. Corporate donors do not want any social programs!

Therefore, they will never actually put a serious #MedicareForAll on the table
We clearly need a radical worker's party.
However, people in America have been propagandized into thinking the Democratic party is lesser evil and if they waited a bit more.. few more seats... they'd pass it
Even Nancy Pelosi doesn't outright say "I oppose Medicare-for-all"

Instead, she says some incoherent rant about Tabula Rasa and in theory blah blah...

We want to show the American people who may have been muddled by the confusion and propaganda some clarity.
It does not have to be #medicareforall. It could be about making sure people get universal payments about covid-19... literally anything.
But, the idea is to help educate the American people about how the futility of having a non-revolutionary worker's party.

They can see it most clearly when the contrast is most stark.
So having the "Squad" & "progressives" withhold their vote until Nancy Pelosi agrees to bring such a thing on the floor is a good idea because then it will expose most of the party for being the two-faced hypocrites they are to the less politically aware!
Losing faith in the Democratic party is good because it is factually true.

If you want to see what kind of organization we need .. well.. . if only someone wrote a manual on "What is to be done?" đŸ€”đŸ€”

Here is an article from 192x, where the Oklahoma Socialists urge their voters not to change the party registration for the same exact reason.
They all the Democratic Party "labor-faking" tories.
Another article... the Oklahoma socialist party from 192x also urge people not to change into Democratic party.
1922 the Bugle.
A socialist Newspaper from 1910 has the same warning!
The NAACP in 1910
1919 Ohio socialists have a neat cosmo-like tips on how to grow socialism!
If we ever get our podcast and newsletter account back up @historic_ly, we remember the Knights of Labor making this argument in 1890.

People have tried to move the "Democrats" left for 130 years and it has not worked!
Each generation seems to relearn that lesson on their own. By that time, they are too old to effectuate change.

We want to end this cycle that has gone one for 130+ years.
Then again, after WW2, the communist party became popular because communists were the only ones who fought the fascists.

We got crazy laws (with Democratic support) that barred communists from running elections.
In fact, the only one to speak up against Joe McCarthy was this one senator from Vermont... 🧐
The reason why we have a two party system is because throughout history, once the third party gets even a few seats, the oligarchs step in and make it illegal.
I personally think 130 years of participation shows us that you cannot actually move the Democratic party left and the oligarchy rules.

But, for those who say "third parties" are not feasible, tell them about the red purges.
They say socialism is not popular.. but did you know that Eugene Debs won 1 million votes for the socialist party in the Presidential Election FROM PRISON!

He was in Prison
I cannot begin to tell you how propagandized everyone is in this country. But...they are...
