Someone asked if we should thank Trump for the vaccine? I say yes, Mr. President, we are grateful for the role you played. But if you ordered people to work together & as fast as possible, you simply did what any President would have done.

But if you get credit for that, you also get blame for all the lies you told, the people who were unnecessarily infected, & the lives you cost us.

As an old cousin of mine says, “You can’t take a crap on the floor and then want everybody to thank you for cleaning it up.”

The real thanks goes to the scientists & medical workers, the poor & low-wealth healthcare workers, & the voters who turned out to vote Trump out of office.
