the "bad therapists" thread is entirely the opposite of my experience, and I wonder if it's because all of the therapy I've had was in Massachusetts.

& of course my recent therapists were particularly awesome because I found them via a queer/polyam/kink-friendly list.

idk the OP has a valid point that there ARE sucky therapists out there, & finding the right one for you is a shitty process esp when in crisis
