Per Wis. State Law, one can only claim and receive the Lottery Tax Credit for one’s primary residence. The law specifically excludes rental properties and any dwelling that is not one’s primary residence.
As a matter of public record, as reflected on the Pierce County, WI, website, tax records reflect @RepZimmerman has only ever claimed W10887 875th Ave, Town of Clifton, as his primary residence in 2017, 2018, 2019, and now 2020.
W10887 875th Ave, Town of Clifton, is not in the 30th Assembly District. @RepZimmerman is not a qualified elector of the 30th Assemble District, making voting in and representing the 30th AD voter and election fraud.
Shannon uses his son’s duplex, 429 Jefferson in the City of River Falls to vote in and represent the 30th Assembly District. He says he lives in a room in the basement.
Since getting elected in 2016, @RepZimmerman has never claimed 429 Jefferson St., River Falls, as his primary residence per Wisconsin property tax records, which are public record.
Shannon’s son, Nick, lives in the duplex with his girlfriend and sometimes his son. Nick is not only a material witness but an attorney. If asked under oath or as part of an investigation whether his dad lives in his basement, Nick would have a choice.
Either he is honest and says no, his dad does not live in his basement, or he lies and his law license is on the line.
@RepZimmerman evidently doesn’t care and continues to put his son in this position.
So far as I can tell from reviewing public records, to date, no investigations have involved interviewing Nick as a material witness.
There is currently a complaint pending with the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Commission Member Dean Knudson is the former Mayor of Hudson, the largest city in the 30th AD. Dean held @RepZimmerman’s seat in the State Assembly prior to Shannon.
W10887 875th Ave, Town of Clifton is adjacent to @RepZimmerman’s winery, a location frequently used for local Republican events and fundraisers.
Dean Knudson has donated at least $1500 to @RepZimmerman over the following dates: 10/13/16, 05/08/2017, 6/29/2018, 9/30/2019
Here’s Dean at a Republican fundraiser at @RepZimmerman’s Clifton winery, yes, the one adjacent to his out-of-district home.
Calling on @deanknudson to recuse himself from @RepZimmerman’s pending 5.05 complaint with @WI_Elections. He either knows or should know Shannon is not a qualified elector of the 30th Assembly District.
If Dean is claiming he didn’t know, then we have issues of competence and fitness for public service.
If @deanknudson — as I suspect— is well aware that @RepZimmerman does not live in his kid’s basement, his inaction and continued support of someone actively committing election and voter fraud speaks to his integrity and is or should be disqualifying for public service.
Wisconsin used to be known for #GoodGovernment. What a slap in the face to the legacy of former Governor LaFollette, #FightingBob, for @deanknudson and @RepZimmerman to make a mockery of our laws and act as though rules don’t apply to them.
Calling on @RepZimmerman to #resign and not be sworn in to a new term next month. He continues to not be a qualified elector of the 30th Assembly District and has no business voting in or representing it.
